We have procured a list of technology hand selected by our founder. All of these devices have been vetted and tested to provide you with reliable technology at fair prices. The following is all links to Amazon, creating a painless one-stop-shop for all of your tech needs!

Docking Stations:

USB 3.0 Docking Station (Universal) – This docking station can be used with all laptops. It uses USB 3.0 by default but comes with an adapter for USB C. It can support up to 3 monitors, by using DisplayLink technology, which provides USB to Video capabilities.

USB C Docking Station – This dock offers 12 ports, from the 1 USB C that it uses. The dock supports up to 3 monitors and can provide power to your laptop. The thing to watch out for with this is that your laptop’s USB C ports must support Display Alternate Mode, as well as Power delivery, for you to get the full functionality out of it. If you are unsure, contact KOB Tech, or just choose the other docking station option.

Monitors:

Sceptre 24″ 1080p – This is a reliable and inexpensive monitor, ideal for businesses, or to use as a second monitor. It has 2 HDMI ports, 1 VGA port, an Audio in & out, and is VESA Mountable. It also has built-in speakers, if you want to keep a cleaner build, though they are not the loudest.

Sceptre 27″ 1080p – Same as monitor above, aside from being 3″ larger. This is a good monitor for businesses or everyday personal use. It has 2 HDMI ports, 1 VGA port, an Audio out, is VESA Mountable and has built-in speakers. I personally have the curved version of this monitor.

Sceptre 30″ Curved Gaming Monitor – As the name hints, this thing is a beast! It offers up to 200Hz on an Ultra wide screen, with built-in speakers. The monitor offers 3 HDMI ports, 1 DisplayPort port, an Audio out, and is VESA Mountable. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a gnarly monitor, at a good price.

Mice & Keyboards:

Logitech MK295 Wireless Mouse & Keyboard Combo – This is the standard for business usage (technically the MK270 was, but has been discontinued). Both the mouse & keyboard are wireless, but not Bluetooth, which takes a whole layer of issues out of the mix. They instantly connect to the supplied dongle and offer some handy shortcut keys, such as a calculator button. They say the keyboard can last 3 years, and the mouse 18 months, on a pair of batteries.

Wired Gaming Mouse – Redragon M901 – This is the mouse I have gamed with for years. It is reasonably priced and packed out with features. It has a 12-key number pad, bringing your spellbook to your fingertips. You can change the DPI (mouse speed) at the tap of a button, and you can adjust the weight with the included weights.

Wired Gaming Keyboard – Corsair K55 RGB Pro – This is the keyboard I have been using for quite some time. It offers RGB that isn’t obtrusive, media keys, and volume keys. There are 6 programmable macro keys, which can be used in any creative way you can come up with. The keyboard comes with a removable wrist wrest, offering two very different feels.

Webcams:

Logitech C920 – This is our go-to webcam! Logitech makes great peripherals for everyday use, for both individuals and businesses. This camera provides a great picture quality, and has a built-in mic that stays focused on your voice, and not the background noise. It also includes a privacy shutter.

Generic Webcam – If you just need a camera to show your face on video calls, and not looking to spend too much, this is your guy. This camera is affordable, 1080p, and, has a built-in microphone.

Logitech Brio 4k – This is high-end option that I would recommend to anyone looking for that crisp, 4k quality webcam. It offers 3 different field of view options, and up to 90 fps (meaning no lag). The built-in mic is noise-canceling, delivering your listeners with a professional sound.

Headsets:

Jabra Wireless Headset – Jabra industry leading headsets for good reasons. It is wireless via dongle, meaning that it isn’t reliant on Bluetooth (though does offer Bluetooth). These style connections work great as they provide wireless capabilities, without any configuration! The audio quality on the output, and the input of this headset is pristine. It is comfy for long-term wear, and holds it’s battery extremely well. Note that this is a pricier option due to the quality and features.

Cyber Acoustics USB Headset – This a dual ear headset, with leatherette ear pads. It is definitely a bang for it’s buck! The speakers deliver clear audio to you, and the microphone provides clear audio to your listeners. This headset is almost indestructible, and comes with a 1 year warranty in case things go wrong.

Razer Kraken Ultimate – For my gamers, I give you, the Razer Kraken Ultimate RGB USB headset. This is the go-to for many gamers, including myself. The ear pads are nice and cushioned, but airy, allowing for “extended” gaming sessions. It has RGB to match the rest of the “gamer tech” going around these days. It is wired, USB, so it is plug-n-play, with no room for error. Once you go Kraken, you never go backen?

Cables:

HDMI Cable – 6 feet, 2 pack – This is a 2 pack of 6′ HDMI cables. They support 4k video, and ARC (audio).

DisplayPort Cable – This is one 6-foot 8k DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable.

HDMI to VGA Cable – This is a 6-foot HDMI to VGA cable. This is used for newer devices, connected to older displays/monitors.

USB-C to HDMI Adapter – This is used to gain HDMI output from a USB-C port. *Note* that a Docking station can also accomplish this.

Lightning to USB Cable – This is a standard 6-foot iPhone or iPad cable. It is covered in nylon which protects the cable, and provides strength at the bends.

Storage Devices:

External HDD (2TB) – This is a 2TB portable, external hard drive, made by WD. WD has been making high-quality storage devices since 1986! This drive will work on PC and Mac, as well as gaming systems, like Xbox or Playstation. Use this to backup your files or have a portable digital library.

M.2 SSD (1TB) – This Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD can do no wrong. This SSD is in the M.2 format, so ensure that your PC has a M.2 slot. This is the fastest type of storage technology, and the least resistant to drive failures. This drive offers write speeds up to 3,500MB/s which is super quick.

Standard SSD (480 GB) – This is a good option for someone looking for a relatively inexpensive SSD, to load their operating system, and other programs on. I would recommend this to someone who is trying to speed up their PC by moving their OS to an SSD from a traditional HDD. This drive uses SATA 3 connection.

Techcessories:

Velcro Cable Ties – The first step in clean cable management. If you have ever worked in a server room, you know that zip ties are THE WORST! Zip ties require you to use a sharp blade, around sensitive cables when it is time to move or be modified. With velcro ties, just unwrap it and you are good to go.

Cable Clips – These are handy to keep chargers and other common cables from falling behind desks, dressers, or nightstands.

XXL Mousepad – Because having a mousepad under both your mouse & keyboard is all the rage these days. This mousepad offers a nice stitched edging, a sleek color scheme. The world map is a cool design, but there are others to choose from, if that isn’t your fancy.

Bluetooth Dongle – A lot of desktops don’t have WiFi or Bluetooth by default. If yours doesn’t, one of these can solve that issue, for around $10.

NETGEAR WiFi Adapter – If your desktop doesn’t have WiFi by default, you can purchase this WiFi adapter from NETGEAR. This is the newest model, offering the best speed, reliability, and possible connection options.

Anker 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub – This USB 3.0 (blue tipped USB’s) hub, turns one USB port into three. All ports are always active, so no need to turn them on with any buttons. Anker makes great cables and adapters. This device is plug-n-play, so no instructions or software needed.

Electronics Tool Kit (126 pcs) – This tool kit is the go-to for anyone looking to open up their PC. It provides you with all the tools you need to replace your desktop or laptop components. It folds into a thin and durable pouch, keeping your bits in place.
